There is strong evidence that maintaining an active lifestyle provides important physical and mental health benefits. Nevertheless, Turkey and Europe have been suffering from sedentary life recently as a result of the people’s overuse of technology, some kind of illness such as obesity, diabetes, cancer and stress appear on body.

The project aim is to combat for sedentary causing the obesity, cancer, diabetes and stress (mental health) by promoting a more active and healthier lifestyle and quality of target groups’ life by having them gain health eating habits. In addition to this, another aim is to promote the European cooperation in the methods, trains and informations concerning the healthy life among collaborating countries.
Overall the project will encourage firstly a heightened awareness of health and active lifestyle through a multicultural context and secondly the positive effects of living such a diverse European Union. Each country’ll prepare ten recipes of local dishes and these’ll be examined in term of the nutritional requirements of a healthy balanced and traditional diets. We’ll share and exchange traditional losing weight methods and to develop a fitness program incorporating healthy diet and excerice.
A detailed local search will be carried out in order to get the profile of the population and bring the project to their needs and expectations and build a common path to follow, specially when working with risk groups. All partners, waving the flag of health and interculturality, will have opportunity to involve in local culture experiencing and tasting healthy food culture, sharing local sports practice.

We’ll finalise by participating in 34nd Intercontinental Istanbul Eurasia Marathon with all partners and forming A Guide to Good Practices for Healthy Life.
